Text Diff

Compare two texts and see exactly what changed: paste an original and a changed version (or pick two local files) and get a side-by-side view with additions, deletions and modifications highlighted. Compare by character, word or line, and optionally ignore case or whitespace. Unlike the big diff sites, this tool does all the work in your browser — your text is never uploaded to a server, which you can verify yourself by opening the browser's Network tab and seeing zero outbound requests carrying your content. No account, no ads, no limits, and it keeps working with your network disconnected.

How it works

1. Paste the original text on the left and the changed text on the right.
2. Choose how to compare: by character, word or line.
3. Optionally turn on ‘Ignore case’ or ‘Ignore whitespace’.
4. Read the side-by-side result — green is added, red is removed.
