Never leaves your device — it all runs in your browser1 PDF · up to 12 MB · up to 100 pages
Add page numbers to PDF stamps a number onto every page of your PDF, entirely inside your browser tab. Drop your file, pick where numbering starts and where it sits, then download the numbered PDF as numbered.pdf. Unlike iLovePDF, Smallpdf or Sejda, which upload your document to their servers to edit it, this tool draws the numbers on your own device: your PDF never leaves your browser, so it’s the safe choice for contracts, invoices or anything confidential. It numbers every page from a start between 1 and 9999 — it doesn’t skip covers, use Roman numerals, or modify digitally signed files.
How it works
- Drop your PDF onto the page, or click to choose it.
- Pick the starting number and the bottom position; open Advanced for style, size and margin. The estimated preview of page 1 updates as you change options.
- Click Add page numbers.
- Download the result as numbered.pdf. Everything happened in your browser; nothing was uploaded.
