Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-06-17

These terms govern your use of the Simple Tools Hub (“the Hub”, “we”, “us”). By using the Hub you agree to them. The Hub is operated by the individual behind “Simple Tools”.

The service

The Hub offers free Client-side Tools (which run entirely in your browser) and paid Backend Tools (which process files on our servers under a Plan). The service is provided on an “as available” basis and may change, be limited, or be discontinued at any time.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • process or upload any illegal content;
  • abuse the service, including automated hammering or attempts to disrupt it;
  • upload or process content you do not have the right to process.

Your content & responsibility

You are solely responsible for the files and text you process with the Hub. For Client-side Tools, your content never reaches us — it stays in your browser. For Backend Tools, your content is processed transiently and stored by reference with a TTL; we do not claim ownership of it.

Intellectual property

The Hub’s brand and code belong to the operator. The Hub is built with open-source components, each under its own license; see our third-party notices for attribution.

Billing

Paid Backend Tools are accessed through a Plan that grants Credits. Billing is handled by Polar as our Merchant of Record. Cancellation and refunds follow Polar’s process and any terms shown at checkout.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Hub is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of output, or uninterrupted availability. You use the tools and rely on their output at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and total liability for the paid tools shall not exceed the amount you paid in the preceding three months; for the free tools, liability is excluded entirely. Nothing in these terms removes statutory rights that consumers or data subjects in the EU, UK, or California cannot waive.

Changes & termination

We may update these terms or discontinue the service; the “Last updated” date reflects the latest version. We may suspend access for a breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Uruguay, and any disputes are subject to its courts. This does not deprive consumers in the EU, UK, or California of the mandatory protections of their local law.
