Split PDF

Split PDF takes one PDF and separates it into the parts you need — extract a page range like 5–10, pull out several ranges at once, or burst the whole document into one PDF per page — entirely inside your browser. Choose a mode, type the pages you want (or pick “every page”), and download the result: a single extracted PDF, or a ZIP of per-page files. Unlike iLovePDF, Smallpdf, Sejda or Adobe, which upload your file to their servers to process it — and cap you at a couple of free tasks a day — this tool runs the split with pdf-lib right in your own browser tab. Your PDF never leaves your device, so we literally cannot see it: the safe choice for contracts, medical records, bank statements or anything you would rather not hand to a cloud service. Every extracted page is copied exactly as it was; nothing is re-encoded, recompressed or rasterised.

How it works

1. Drop your PDF onto the page, or click to choose it.
2. Pick a mode — extract a page range, or split every page into its own file.
3. For a range, type the pages you want, like 1-3, 5, 8-10. A dash to the end (8-) means to the last page.
4. Click Split PDF.
5. Download your result — one PDF for a range, or a ZIP when you split every page. Everything happened in your browser; nothing was uploaded.
