Markdown to HTML

Markdown to HTML converts your Markdown into clean HTML ready to copy or download, entirely in your browser. Paste your Markdown, choose GFM (tables, task lists, strikethrough, autolinks) and whether single line breaks become <br>, then copy the HTML or download it as converted.html. Unlike online converters that send your content to a server, this tool runs Marked and DOMPurify locally: your Markdown never leaves your device, so it's safe for private notes, documentation drafts or anything confidential. Raw HTML in your input is shown as text, not executed; Markdown images keep only their alt text without loading remote files. The preview is sandboxed and isolated.

How it works

1. Paste your Markdown into the textarea, or drop a .md file.
2. Leave GFM on for tables, task lists, strikethrough and autolinks, or turn it off for basic Markdown.
3. Turn on Single line breaks if you want each newline to become a <br>.
4. Switch between Preview and Code tabs to review the result.
5. Click Copy HTML to copy the full output, or Download HTML to save converted.html. Everything happened in your browser; nothing was uploaded.
