Never leaves your device — it all runs in your browserSee every metadata field a photo carries — camera, timestamps, GPS position — and strip it without re-encoding the image, in your browser. JPEG, PNG and WebP are cleaned by removing whole metadata segments, so the pixels stay byte-identical; the result is verified by re-reading the output file. A photo with GPS gets a clear warning with the coordinates and external map links — never an embedded map, which would leak the location to a tile server.
How it works
- Drop a photo — JPEG, PNG or WebP (HEIC is view-only).
- Review the metadata table; a red alert shows any GPS position found.
- Pick 'Remove all metadata' or 'Remove location only', then click the remove button.
- Download the clean copy — verified by re-reading it.
